प्रण (Pledge) 🌊

Sitting by the shores of lake superior the writer takes some liberty to visualize a scenario - A magnanimous lake, irked by the current state of affairs, rebukes the mighty sea. The monologue is captured by a few soulful words in Hindi.

“ मैंने कस ली है कमर, दरिया तुझको दिखाना है तेरे अहं का असर;

जिन लेहरो का है तुझे अभिमान, मन की अशांति का है वो प्रमाण;

अपने आकार और अनुभव का जो नशा तुझे न्यारा, वो कर चुका है दिल को तेरे खारा;

अपने जेष्ठ को पथ प्रदर्शित करने का ये भीष्म प्रण मेरा, तुलनात्मक सामर्थ्य प्राप्त कर भावपूर्ण रहने का संकल्प मेरा !”
